Sharjah FC Prepares for AFC Champions League Final in Singapore
The team arrived in Singapore ahead of their match against Lion City on Sunday.
Sharjah FC has commenced its preparations in Singapore for the AFC Champions League final against Lion City, scheduled for this Sunday.
The team arrived on a private jet from Sharjah International Airport, shortly after departing on Wednesday.
The delegation was seen off by Essa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of the club's board of directors.
The squad consists of 25 players following the exclusion of two due to injury: Majid Rashid and Salem Sultan.
Head coach Cosmin Olăroiu has scheduled four training sessions for the team from Wednesday through Saturday, with the final practice set to take place at Jalan Besar Stadium, the venue for the match.
This early arrival allows the team to acclimatize to the local climate, which is a strategic move by the coaching staff.
