Moza Mohamed Rashed Al Hafeiti, an educator from the United Arab Emirates, has been shortlisted among the top 50 contenders for the Global Teacher Prize, a prestigious recognition organized in collaboration with UNESCO.

The award, which attracts thousands of entrants from various countries, will announce its final winner in February, granting a prize of one million dollars.

This nomination serves as a global acknowledgment of Al Hafeiti's exceptional efforts and significant contributions to advancing educational standards.

She serves as an Islamic Education teacher at Zayed Educational Complex in Dibba Al Fujairah and is regarded as an inspirational figure in the educational sector.

The Global Teacher Prize, first introduced in 2014 by the Varkey Foundation, aims to celebrate exceptional teaching and to highlight the pivotal role educators play worldwide in ensuring a quality education.

Nominees are evaluated based on their educational and innovative impacts.

Al Hafeiti has implemented a comprehensive approach emphasizing innovation and strengthening creative thinking among students.

Al Hafeiti integrates technology in teaching through modern tools enhancing digital learning, allowing students to engage with advanced educational experiences.

Her initiatives include improving students' personal skills, such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Moreover, Al Hafeiti has played a crucial role in community-building within the school setting through initiatives designed to foster cooperation between schools and parents.

These initiatives include workshops and training sessions for educators and community members, facilitating the sharing of successful experiences and practices, thereby enhancing the role of education in community development.

Al Hafeiti mentioned that she launched 30 innovative initiatives, achieving a 95% success rate in enhancing student learning.

One recent initiative, 'Tech Pioneers,' aimed at developing students' future and technical skills across various educational levels.

As a certified trainer, she created a project titled 'The ABC of Continuing Excellence,' targeting all teachers to share experiences and innovative teaching practices.
