Wimbledon Bars Emma Raducanu Stalker from Ticket Ballot
Individual previously stalking player blocked from purchasing Wimbledon tickets
A man subject to a Dubai-issued restraining order for stalking tennis player Emma Raducanu has been removed from Wimbledon’s public ballot following enhanced security screening.
The individual, who caused Raducanu distress at last winter’s Dubai Open by displaying fixated behaviour in a café and at her match, was flagged when applying for tickets.
Wimbledon officials say they have intensified security protocols in coordination with law enforcement to safeguard players this season.
