Al-Nassr Renews Contracts and Signs New Players Ahead of Upcoming Season
Al-Nassr extends Gustavo Alex's contract until 2029 and signs Abdullah Idris until 2028 as part of their roster preparations.
Al-Nassr Football Club has announced the renewal of defender Gustavo Alex's contract until 2029, as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season.
The 25-year-old player initially joined Al-Nassr in July 2023 from Sharjah FC. During the previous season, he appeared in 15 matches for the team.
In addition to extending Alex's contract, Al-Nassr has secured the signing of Abdullah Idris for a contract that will last until 2028. Idris had previously played on loan from Al-Jazira Club during the last season.
This recent activity follows Al-Nassr's announcement two weeks ago regarding the contract renewals of nine players, which included Bosnian Samir Memisevic, Dutch Leroy Fer, Swiss Haris Seferovic, Brazilian Matheus Oliveira, Rashid Omar, Youssef Al-Amrani, Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Nasser Al-Naimi, and Maid Al-Tunji.
These moves are indicative of the club's strategy to strengthen its roster and enhance its competitive capabilities for the forthcoming season.
