Bitcoin prices surge to an all-time high, alongside significant movements in gold and foreign currencies.
Bitcoin has reached an unprecedented level today, climbing by 1.6% to $110,049.82. This surge marks a new all-time high for the cryptocurrency, reflecting intensified investor interest amid fluctuating market conditions.
In parallel, gold prices have also risen, reaching approximately $3,325.79, the highest in nearly two weeks.
Market analysts attribute the upward trends in Bitcoin and gold in part to a recent decline in stock markets and shifts in currency dynamics.
James Nefton, a trading expert, noted that despite the falling equities, the U.S. dollar has not seen traditional safe-haven demand, consequently benefiting gold, the euro, and the yen.
In the political arena, divisions persist among Republicans regarding the details of a proposed tax bill.
House Speaker Mike
Johnson pointed out that hardliners within the party feel that the proposed legislation does not sufficiently reduce spending.
Non-partisan analysts predict the bill may add between $3 trillion and $5 trillion to the country's debt.
In currency markets, the dollar weakened to 143.27 yen during early trading in Asia, marking its lowest level since May 7. Conversely, the South Korean won surged to its highest rate since November 4, reaching 1,368.90 won per dollar.
This increase followed reports that Washington urged Seoul to take measures to bolster the value of its currency, despite a slight decline observed today at 1,377.00 won per dollar.
The euro has stabilized at approximately 1.1330 dollars, maintaining a 0.4% increase from the previous day and marking its third consecutive day of gains.
Meanwhile, the British pound held steady at 1.3426 dollars, and the Swiss franc experienced a minor increase of 0.1% against the dollar, reaching 0.8245.
