Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority Becomes Official Transport Partner for Arab Media Summit 2025

The Dubai Press Club announces the Roads and Transport Authority's support as the transportation partner for this year's major media event.
The Dubai Press Club has confirmed the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai as the transportation partner for the Arab Media Summit 2025, which will take place from May 26 to 28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

This strategic partnership is supported by the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of the Dubai Media Council, the summit is set to feature a range of prominent initiatives in the media sector, showcasing the most significant dialogues and awards in the Arabic media landscape, including the Arab Media Forum, the Arab Youth Media Forum, and the Arab Media Award, which celebrates excellence in media, as well as the Arab Social Media Pioneers Award.

These events will attract notable figures, including high-ranking officials, political leaders, editors-in-chief of major Arabic newspapers, and executives from prominent media organizations, alongside influencers and content creators engaged in media across the Arab world.

Matar Al Tayer, the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, highlighted the agency's dedication to supporting the summit as a transportation partner, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which underscores the crucial role of the media in promoting sustainable development and societal awareness amidst regional and global transformations.

Al Tayer emphasized that this partnership with the Arab Media Summit exemplifies a longstanding collaboration aimed at establishing a leading platform for media and thought leaders in the Arab region and beyond.

Al Tayer further noted the importance of strategic partnerships within the media sector, acknowledging its vital role in highlighting the comprehensive and sustainable development efforts within the UAE, fostering a culture of tolerance and social responsibility, and articulating the positive narrative of the UAE’s achievements, which include advancements in infrastructure and transportation.

He expressed pride in the RTA's role as a transportation partner for the summit, reiterating the agency's commitment to community responsibility and its support for initiatives that enhance constructive dialogue and exchange knowledge.

Muna Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, expressed gratitude to Al Tayer and RTA for their significant support of the summit, which reflects a long-standing quality partnership.

She emphasized the importance of the media in society and its integral role in improving quality of life while promoting awareness of the necessity for active participation in crafting a better future.

Al Marri commended RTA’s contributions to establishing Dubai as a center for creativity and innovation, supported by a sustainable and smart transportation system that leverages advanced technologies.

This collaboration aims to showcase the achievements of Dubai's innovative projects and initiatives through effective media communication.

Mariam Mulla, Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club, reinforced the trust and commitment illustrated through RTA's support of the club's initiatives, emphasizing the potential for media development in the Arab world.

She noted that since its inception in 1999, the Dubai Press Club has served as a dynamic platform for professional dialogue among leaders in the region's media and has hosted numerous political, intellectual, and media figures to foster meaningful exchanges regarding the advancements and challenges facing Arab media today.
