Dubai's Tadawe Healthcare Group Awarded Dubai Waqf Mark
Recognition for Innovative Medical Endowment Initiative Aimed at Supporting Low-Income Patients
The Dubai Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Waqf and Endowment Consultancy, has awarded the 'Dubai Waqf Mark' to Tadawe Healthcare Group in acknowledgment of its pioneering humanitarian initiative 'Tadawi Bil Rahma Tudawi.' This initiative stands as the country’s first innovative medical endowment, focused on providing free medical services to disadvantaged patients and low-income individuals in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates.
The award was presented by Ali Al-Mutawa, the Secretary-General of the Dubai Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, to Marwan Ibrahim Haji Nasser, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tadawe Healthcare Group, in the presence of Khaled Al-Thani, Deputy Secretary-General, and Zainab Jumaa Al-Tamimi, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Waqf and Endowment Consultancy.
Al-Mutawa commended Tadawe Healthcare Group's efforts in supporting charitable work and innovative endowment initiatives, emphasizing the significance of their program in reflecting the spirit of giving and social solidarity.
He noted that awarding Tadawe the 'Dubai Waqf Mark' recognizes its role in enhancing corporate social responsibility and cementing a culture of innovative endowment, aligning with the foundation's strategy to support the healthcare sector.
In a statement, Marwan Haji Nasser expressed pride in receiving the 'Dubai Waqf Mark,' reaffirming the group’s commitment to its humanitarian mission of serving patients from low-income demographics and providing them with the highest quality healthcare.
He stated that Tadawe believes that healthcare is a right for all, which motivated the launch of the 'Tadawi Bil Rahma Tudawi' initiative, aimed at delivering free treatment to those in need.
Since its launch during the last Ramadan, the initiative has successfully treated over 3,000 patients, accruing costs of nearly 3 million dirhams.
The initiative continues to welcome needy patients every Friday at the Tadawe Health Center in Deira, where beneficiaries receive medical examinations, including lab tests, imaging, treatment, and even necessary surgical interventions, at no financial cost.
This provision is backed by a specialized medical team supported by professional nursing and administrative staff to ensure the highest standards of healthcare are upheld.
Zainab Jumaa Al-Tamimi highlighted the noble humanitarian initiative of Tadawe and its active role in providing healthcare for low-income individuals.
She noted that such humanitarian initiatives support the strategic objectives of endowment efforts, enhancing and evolving the contributions from various institutions in charitable and humanitarian fields, both in the public and private sectors, in serving the community and supporting needy groups, while promoting values of social solidarity and cooperation inherent in Emirati society.
