Dubai Tightens Sustainability Requirements for Luxury Hotels Under New Certification Scheme

Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has launched a mandatory sustainability certification for four- and five-star hotels. The programme requires compliance with strict environmental standards on water use, waste reduction and energy efficiency by 2027.
