Emirates Airlines Extends Suspension of Flights to Four Countries Until Late June
Temporary travel restrictions implemented in response to regional developments, affecting flights to Jordan, Lebanon, Iran, and Iraq.
Emirates Airlines has announced a temporary suspension of all flights to and from several destinations in the Middle East, effective immediately and lasting until the end of June 2025. This decision comes in light of ongoing regional developments.
The specific flight suspensions are as follows: flights to Jordan (Amman) and Lebanon (Beirut) will remain suspended until Sunday, June 22, 2025, inclusive of that date.
Flights to Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra) will be suspended until Monday, June 30, 2025, inclusive of that date.
The airline has confirmed that customers planning to travel through Dubai to their final destinations in these countries, or those with onward bookings with flydubai to suspended destinations, will not be permitted to travel from their point of origin until further notice.
Emirates Airlines is advising affected customers whose flights have been canceled to reach out to travel agencies for alternative arrangements, or to contact the airline directly if their bookings were made through Emirates.
The airline emphasized the importance of ensuring accurate contact information is provided through its online booking management service to facilitate timely notifications.
Travelers using Dubai International Airport are encouraged to check their flight status on the airline's website for the latest updates.
