Mohammed Alabbar: Dubai's Ascent as a Premier City for Living and Working

Emaar and Noon founder highlights Dubai's growth driven by visionary leadership at the Dubai International Project Management Forum.
Mohammed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar Properties and Noon, and chairman of Eagle Hills, has declared that Dubai has emerged as the optimum city for living and working.

This assertion comes as a testament to the tangible achievements shaped by the prudent and visionary leadership of the emirate, fostering a modern lifestyle through strategic human resource development.

Alabbar's remarks were delivered during his keynote speech following the opening session of the 10th edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, which is being held at Madinat Jumeirah.

The event, themed 'Sustainable Future,' runs from January 13th to 16th under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

The event showcases Dubai's commitment to establishing itself as a leader in project management and sustainable urban development.

This forum serves as a platform where international experts and professionals converge to discuss innovations that drive sustainable growth.

Alabbar attributed Dubai's transformative progress to the inspired leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

He commended the city's ability to reinvent and adapt positively through sound decision-making, calculated risk-taking, and actions in times of crisis to benefit the public and serve the nation’s interests.

He emphasized that continuous change and the rapid developments achieved in Dubai require skilled teams that embody development and harmony, working tirelessly without fatigue.

Alabbar noted that the success underlying Emaar and Noon is grounded in a clear vision and goals, a dedicated work ethic, and the selection of qualified human resources who value and diligently execute their work.

Dubai's growth narrative, as highlighted by Alabbar, is a testament to the power of strategic leadership and a skilled workforce, offering insights into the city’s potential as a model for sustainable urban living and economic diversification globally.
