National Judo Team Prepares for World Championship in Hungary
The team begins training camp in Germany ahead of the upcoming World Judo Championships in Budapest.
The national judo team has initiated a training camp at an international training center in Germany in preparation for the 38th World Judo Championships for men and the 29th for women, scheduled to be held in Budapest, Hungary.
The championships will commence on June 13, 2023. Prior to the competition, an Ordinary General Assembly meeting of the International Judo Federation will take place on June 11, chaired by Marius Vizer.
Dr. Nasser Al Tamimi, a member of the national Olympic committee and Secretary General of the Judo Federation, as well as Treasurer of the International Federation, is expected to attend the meeting.
The Judo Federation has announced the selection of eight male athletes and one female athlete to represent the country at the championship.
