Shabab Al Sharjah Wins Basketball League Championship for the Ninth Time
Shabab Al Sharjah secures the youth basketball league title after defeating Al Nasr in the finals.
Shabab Al Sharjah has claimed the title of the UAE Youth Basketball League for the 2024-2025 season, marking the ninth championship in the club's history.
The team triumphed over Al Nasr in a best-of-three finals format, winning the series in consecutive matches.
The first game took place at the Sharjah arena, where Shabab Al Sharjah achieved a decisive victory with a score of 77-50. The second game, held at Al Nasr Club's venue in Dubai, ended in a close 73-64 win for Shabab Al Sharjah.
The cup and gold medals were presented to the winning team by Abdul Latif Al Fardan, Vice President of the UAE Basketball Federation.
Al Nasr, finishing as the runner-up, received silver medals.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Mohammed Obaid Al Hossan, a member of the Sharjah Club’s Board of Directors and Head of Team Sports, Ali Al Ameri, a member of the UAE Basketball Federation's Board of Directors and Director of the Competitions Committee, and Khalid Ghabash, Supervisor of Youth Basketball at Sharjah Club.
This championship marks the first title for the youth basketball sector of Sharjah Club in the 2024-2025 season, with all teams from the club reaching the final stages of their respective competitions.
