Sheikh Khaled Chairs ADNOC Executive Committee Meeting Focused on AI and Local Manufacturing
Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince reviews financial performance and new initiatives at oil firm ADNOC.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, convened a meeting of the executive committee of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) on June 11, 2025. The session provided a platform for reviewing ADNOC's financial performance for the first quarter of 2025 and updating the committee on the company's initiatives aimed at optimizing Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas resources.
A key highlight of the meeting was the introduction of ADNOC’s new artificial intelligence tool, MEERAi.
This tool is designed to facilitate smarter and quicker decision-making across the organization, as reported by state news agency Wam.
Sheikh Khaled was also presented with information regarding ADNOC's involvement in the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025, an event scheduled to take place in the capital in May. He underscored the importance of ADNOC's efforts to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and bolster the industrial framework of the UAE.
Discussion during the meeting further encompassed ADNOC's commitment to nurturing future Emirati leadership within the organization, reflecting its strategic focus on developing local talent.
Participants in the meeting included Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC's Managing Director and Group CEO; Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Managing Director and Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Company; and Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance.
