UAE Adds 19 Individuals and Entities Linked to Muslim Brotherhood to Terrorism List

The United Arab Emirates has announced a significant measure to combat terrorism by adding 19 individuals and entities to its local terrorism list, citing ties to the internationally recognized terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
This decision follows the issuance of Resolution No. 1 for 2025 by the UAE Cabinet, which mandates the inclusion of 11 individuals and eight entities on the terrorist list in accordance with the country’s judicial and legislative frameworks.
The strategic decision underscores the UAE's commitment to both domestic and international efforts to dismantle and disrupt networks involved in financing terrorism.
These actions are consistent with the nation’s initiatives to address terrorist activities directly or indirectly.
Upon implementation of the decision, financial institutions and regulatory bodies within the UAE are required to execute and adhere to necessary measures as stipulated by the country's laws and regulations.
