UAE Launches Emirates Monitoring Center to Manage National Power Grid in Real Time

The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has opened the Emirates Monitoring Center, powered by Siemens’ Spectrum Power platform, to provide real-time oversight of the country’s forty-eight gigawatt integrated electricity network and improve coordination between utilities across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates.
