UAE Lowers Legal Age of Adulthood to 18 Under Federal Decree

The legal age of adulthood in the United Arab Emirates has been reduced from 21 lunar years to 18 Gregorian years, aligning civil, juvenile and labor laws while granting young adults full legal capacity earlier and allowing individuals to manage financial assets from age 15.
