Olaroiu Cozmin, the head coach of the United Arab Emirates national football team, has announced a squad of 27 players for the upcoming matches against Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for June 5 and June 10, 2023, respectively.
These matches are part of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The goalkeeping section features Ali Khaseef, Khaled Eissa, and Hamad Al-Maqbali.
In the defensive lineup, the selected players include Lucas Pimenta, Kwame, Khalifa Al-Hamadi, Alaa Al-Din Zuhair, Sasha, Khaled Al-Dhahani, Marcos Meloni, Abdulrahman Saleh, and Bader Nasser.
