UAE Officially Decriminalizes Attempted Suicide in Major Legal Update

The United Arab Emirates has updated its Crimes and Penalties Law to remove criminal charges for attempted suicide to encourage mental health support, while introducing strict new penalties for those who incite or assist in such acts.
