United Arab Emirates Issues Strict Warning Against Online Insults and Digital Defamation

Federal authorities have reminded the public that offensive online behaviour, digital insults, and defamation can result in imprisonment and heavy fines of up to five hundred thousand dirhams under the country's stringent cybercrime laws.
