United Arab Emirates Lowers Legal Age of Adulthood to 18 in Nationwide Legislative Reform

The United Arab Emirates has implemented a federal decree reducing the legal age of adulthood from 21 to 18. The reform aligns civil, criminal and labour frameworks and grants individuals full legal capacity to manage financial and corporate assets independently.
