UAE Lowers Legal Age of Adulthood to 18 Under New Federal Law

The UAE has enacted a new federal law reducing the legal age of adulthood from 21 lunar Hijri years to 18 Gregorian years. The change aligns legal definitions of civil capacity across labour, criminal, and civil frameworks.
