Dubai has relaunched its ‘Our Flexible Summer’ initiative running from July 1 to September 12, granting public sector employees a choice between an eight-hour workday Monday to Thursday with Fridays off, or a seven-hour Monday to Thursday schedule plus a half-day Friday.

The program, following a successful trial phase, aims to enhance employee well-being and efficiency during the intense summer heat, with individual departments empowered to implement the plan according to operational requirements.
