Abu Dhabi's Food Safety Authority Closes Restaurant for Violations
Administrative closure issued for 'Taste Grill Restaurant' due to health and safety violations.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has announced the administrative closure of 'Taste Grill Restaurant' located in the Al Dana area, holding commercial license (CN-5255566).
This decision was made due to violations of Law No. (2) of 2008 concerning food safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as the associated regulations, which posed a threat to public health.
According to the Food Control report, the restaurant's closure was prompted by repeated food safety violations and the failure to implement effective corrective measures, necessitating immediate action to ensure food safety and consumer health.
The authority confirmed that the administrative closure will remain in effect until the violations are rectified, with the possibility of resuming operations only after complete compliance with all food safety requirements.
Furthermore, the administrative closure and identification of violations are part of the authority's strategy to enhance the food safety system in Abu Dhabi.
This strategy includes regular inspections of all food establishments to ensure compliance with safety regulations, emphasizing proactive protection of consumers.
Residents are encouraged to report any observed violations in any food establishment or concerns regarding food safety by contacting Abu Dhabi Government's toll-free number 800555, allowing inspectors to take necessary measures for ensuring safe and healthy food for all community members in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
