Global Government Summit 2025: Advancing Dialogue on Future Governance

The Global Government Summit 2025, held in Dubai, has been highlighted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, as a significant international event focusing on enhancing dialogue and exchanging experiences in the field of governance.
This summit aims to address governmental challenges and envision future strategies to improve human well-being and sustainable development for future generations.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which has contributed to making the summit a prominent global platform.
The President noted, "The large and high-level global attendance at the summit reflects confidence in the UAE's approach to serving humanity and fulfilling the aspirations of nations for prosperity and well-being."
During the summit's proceedings, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed met with various heads of state and dignitaries participating in the event.
Among those he engaged with were Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait; Gustavo Petro Urrego, President of Colombia; Andrzej Duda, President of Poland; and Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
These meetings centered on discussing bilateral relations and opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas such as economic, trade, and developmental interests, alongside fostering sustainable economic growth.
The discussions also emphasized the significance of the topics addressed at the Global Government Summit in enriching global dialogue, enhancing governmental practices, and envisioning a future that accelerates development and results in improved community outcomes.
In related activities, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed visited the "Innovations in Creative Governments" exhibition held as part of the summit's events.
He engaged with exhibition organizers and reviewed several innovative governmental solutions aimed at addressing global challenges, underscoring the importance of such exhibitions in presenting innovative approaches to enhance government work for human development and building a prosperous future for all.
Attending the meetings were several prominent officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Advisor to the President; and Rita Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, among others.
The gathering of state leaders and officials aims to foster meaningful collaboration on pressing global issues.
