Trump demands the release of all hostages by noon on Saturday, warning that 'all hell is going to break loose' otherwise.
On Wednesday, U.S. Special Envoy for Hostage Affairs Adam Boehler issued a stern warning to Hamas concerning the release of American captives.
Boehler made it clear that the terrorist group should not misjudge President
Donald Trump's determination as the deadline for releasing hostages nears this weekend.
He declared, 'Currently, Hamas is holding seven Americans.
This is a terrorist organization, and it is intolerable.' Boehler's comments come in the wake of increased tensions after Hamas announced a delay in the next planned hostages' release, citing purported Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
In reply, President Trump urged Israel to end the ceasefire if all hostages are not freed by noon on Saturday.
He stated, 'I’d suggest they should be returned by twelve o’clock on Saturday, and if they’re not returned...
there will be serious consequences.' Reports indicate that there are presently seventy-six hostages in the Gaza Strip, including at least six Americans.
Israeli officials have warned that the ceasefire will be lifted, and military actions will resume if Hamas fails to release the hostages as scheduled.
