Global Government Summit Scheduled for February 2026 in the UAE
The 2026 edition of the World Government Summit aims to enhance international partnerships and share successful governance practices among nations.
The World Government Summit, directed under the visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is set to take place from February 3 to 5, 2026. This initiative aims to reinforce the UAE's commitment to fostering effective international partnerships and facilitating the exchange of successful experiences and practices among governments worldwide, paving the way for innovative models to secure a better future for humanity.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Government Summit, highlighted that the event serves as a platform for enabling governments to lead change and positively impact the lives of people globally, ensuring prosperity and a safe transition into a better future.
The summit is poised to continue affirming its position as a pivotal event in supporting the development of government work and enhancing fruitful international collaboration among governments and global institutions.

The 12th edition of the World Government Summit showcased unprecedented diversity with government representatives from all continents.
The extensive participation from the private sector further enriched discussions, providing a comprehensive representation of vital fields and sectors influencing future directions.
In addition, the positive outcomes from the summit aligned with extensive global participation across its agenda, attracting over 6,000 attendees and 80 international organizations.
More than 300 global leaders, including heads of state, ministers, experts, and decision-makers, featured in over 200 interactive sessions across 21 global forums.
The event also facilitated over 30 roundtable discussions and ministerial meetings with the participation of more than 400 ministers, culminating in the release of 30 strategic reports developed in partnership with international knowledge collaborators.
