Hajj Pilgrims Perform Rami al-Jamarat on the First Day of Tashreeq
Pilgrims carry out the symbolic stoning ritual in a structured and organized environment.
On the first day of Tashreeq, pilgrims at the Hajj performed the Rami al-Jamarat, beginning with the small jamrah, followed by the middle jamrah, and culminating with the large jamrah, in accordance with the practices established by the Prophet Muhammad.
This ritual is a significant component of the Hajj pilgrimage, symbolizing the rejection of evil.
Organizational measures were implemented to facilitate the movement of large crowds within the Jamaraat facilities, ensuring a smooth experience for the pilgrims.
As pilgrims continue their stay in the area of Mina during the days of Tashreeq, they have the option to leave early on the second day if they choose, in alignment with Islamic teachings that state: "So whoever hastens to leave in two days, there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him for one who fears [Allah]."
This year's Hajj season has seen significant attention to health and safety protocols, with authorities ensuring that all participants adhere to necessary guidelines.
The ministry responsible for Hajj affairs has reported preparations that include crowd control measures and health screenings to safeguard the well-being of pilgrims during this busy period.
