HONOR Becomes First Technology Brand to Partner with Louvre Abu Dhabi

HONOR teams up with Louvre Abu Dhabi for the exhibition 'Kings and Queens of Africa: Forms of Power and Symbols', showcasing over 350 works highlighting Africa's rich cultural heritage.
HONOR, a leading technology brand, has officially partnered with the Louvre Abu Dhabi for the upcoming exhibition titled "Kings and Queens of Africa: Forms of Power and Symbols." The exhibition features an exceptional collection of more than 350 artworks, offering an immersive journey into the cultural, artistic, and social heritage of traditional African kingdoms.

Running until May 25, 2025, the exhibition celebrates Africa's rich history and creativity, showcasing its cultural legacy from the 11th century to the 21st century, while emphasizing its significant influence on contemporary art.

Visitors will encounter a remarkable array of royal portraits, sculptures, ritual objects, and textiles, exploring the deep connections between art, power, and identity across the African continent.

This partnership marks a milestone, establishing HONOR as the first technology brand to join the ranks of official partners of the renowned cultural institution.

The partnership aligns with HONOR’s overarching vision of putting people first, integrating artificial intelligence and technology into various aspects of daily life.

Through this collaboration, HONOR aims to extend its impact beyond technology, supporting initiatives that contribute to community unity and enrich cultural experiences for global audiences.

Lawrence Li, General Manager of HONOR in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, expressed enthusiasm for their official partnership, stating, "We are delighted to announce our official partnership for this unique exhibition at the Louvre Abu Dhabi." Li noted, "This exhibition presents an ideal opportunity for new HONOR Magic7 Pro users to enjoy AI technology comfortably and engage seamlessly with the exploration and learning journey."

The partnership coincides with the launch of the HONOR Magic7 Pro in the Middle East and Africa.

This innovative smartphone is anticipated to enhance user interaction at events, exhibitions, and festivals through a series of intelligent features supported by AI technologies.

As HONOR continues to push the boundaries of innovation within the technology industry, its partnership with the Louvre Abu Dhabi represents a significant step in bridging technology with the exploration of art and culture.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi, a product of a historic agreement between the governments of Abu Dhabi and France, was designed by architect Jean Nouvel and opened to the public on Saadiyat Island in November 2017. The museum's design is inspired by traditional Islamic architecture, characterized by a massive dome that allows light to filter through, creating a play of light.

Since its inception, the museum has transformed into a unique social space that brings visitors together in an artistic and cultural atmosphere.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi celebrates the global creativity of humanity, inviting audiences to reflect on humanity through a different lens.

Through its innovative organizational approach, the museum focuses on bridging understanding between cultures by telling stories of human creativity that transcend civilizations, time, and space.

The museum houses an unparalleled art collection in the region, covering thousands of years of human history, including artifacts from prehistoric times, historical texts, and contemporary sculptures.

Its permanent collection is complemented by a range of loaned works from 19 partner French institutions and regional and international museums.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi serves as a platform to test new ideas in a globalized world, supporting the growth of future generations of talent and cultural pioneers.

The museum aims to connect communities with engaging international exhibitions, programs, and a dedicated children's museum.

HONOR is a global leader in smart device technology, dedicated to becoming an iconic global technology brand that creates a new intelligent world for everyone through its powerful products and services.

With an unwavering focus on research and development, HONOR is committed to advancing technology that empowers people around the globe, allowing them to achieve more.
