The fifth edition of the Urology Specialties Forum in Dubai convenes experts to discuss AI's role in enhancing surgical care.
The fifth Urology Specialties Forum commenced in Dubai, featuring the participation of 80 speakers and 30 companies, and attracting approximately 800 healthcare professionals from across the Middle East.
Under the theme 'Post-Treatment Phase', the forum aims to foster creativity and innovation in therapeutic technologies, particularly focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in urology surgeries and other medical fields.
The discussions emphasize the interplay between innovation and clinical excellence across various domains, including urological tumors, kidney disease management, men's health, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
Dr. Yasser Farhat, co-chair of the Urology Specialties Forum and CEO of the Arab Association of Urological Surgery in the UAE, remarked that through innovation, constructive dialogue, and knowledge sharing, the forum contributes to achieving practical outcomes in clinical practice, enhancing patient quality of life, and mitigating social and economic burdens.
This year's agenda includes seven scientific sessions addressing emerging treatments, women's urological diseases, family medicine, among other topics.
Additionally, the forum features over five practical workshops led by a select group of global experts in the field.
