Students from Grades 3 to 12 to Begin End-of-Year Examinations on June 10
Students across various educational tracks in public and private schools will undertake end-of-year assessments from June 10 to June 19, 2024.

For students in grades 3 and 4, examinations will be held in a traditional paper format with mandatory in-person attendance.
Students in grades 5 to 9 from all educational tracks (general and advanced) will complete their assessments in mixed formats, both paper-based and digital, with compulsory attendance required at their respective schools.
Students from grades 5 to 12 will face examinations combining both formats according to the nature of each subject and academic track, and are required to bring personal electronic devices, such as laptops, for the digital assessments.
The Ministry has stipulated that teachers are not permitted to read examination questions for students, apart from those in grade 3, who may have the text of the question read aloud without any interpretation or answer guidance, ensuring fairness and transparency.
Regarding the English language test for grade 12 students, the Ministry has confirmed it will take place in an electronically written format within a secure examination framework designated for this purpose.
Grade 12 students enrolled in private schools will sit for their examinations at public general education schools, under the direct supervision of educational branch coordinators in collaboration with school administrations.
With respect to the chemistry exam, guidelines state that schools offering general and advanced tracks are required to print and distribute the periodic table to students during the examination.
Elite program students are allowed to utilize the periodic table available within the Swift Assess digital platform in their web browsers.
The Ministry emphasizes that all students must bring their personal electronic devices to school during the examination period according to the requirements of each specific test and the approved schedule.
According to the academic calendar, grade 12 students in the general and advanced tracks will begin their examination sequence with physics on June 10, followed by English on June 11, Islamic education on June 12, chemistry on June 13, mathematics on June 16, and Arabic on June 17. The examination period will conclude with social studies on June 18 and biology on June 19.
Students in the applied track are set to start with applied science on June 10, followed by English on June 11, Islamic education on June 12, applied mathematics on June 16, Arabic on June 17, and will finish with social studies on June 18.
Grades 3 to 9 will begin their examinations with science, while students in grade 9 from the advanced track through to grade 11 will start with physics.
