The 'Blood Moon' effect will not be visible from the UAE, according to the Dubai Astronomy Group.
A total lunar eclipse is set to occur on the night of March 13 into March 14, during which the Moon will traverse Earth's shadow, creating the phenomenon known as a 'Blood Moon'.
This event is characterized by the Moon taking on a reddish hue.
According to the Dubai Astronomy Group (DAG), residents in the United Arab Emirates will not be able to view this celestial event directly.
However, those interested can access a live broadcast of the eclipse through Time and Date’s YouTube channel.
The total eclipse will be best visible across North and South America, as well as in parts of Western Europe, Western Africa, and the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans.
In contrast, a partial eclipse will be observable in other regions including additional parts of Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
The Dubai Astronomy Group confirmed that UAE residents will not be within the visibility range for any part of this lunar eclipse.
