UAE Consolidates Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance Under Single Federal Authority

The UAE has established a new Federal Authority for Artificial Intelligence and Data, merging several existing digital governance bodies into a unified institution reporting directly to the Cabinet. The reform brings together national AI policy, data regulation and compliance oversight under one framework aimed at streamlining digital strategy and enforcement.
