Air India Cuts International Flights Following Crash and Middle East Conflict
15% reduction in services due to safety inspections and airspace closures
Air India has announced a 15% reduction in its international flight schedule, citing the recent fatal crash of flight AI171 and escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
The airline is conducting enhanced safety inspections across its fleet and has canceled 83 flights due to airspace closures following military escalation between Iran and Israel.
The reduced schedule is expected to continue through mid-July.
