Dubai has granted its first regulated license for over-the-counter crypto options to Laser Digital, marking a significant step in the emirate's ambitions to become a global leader in digital asset finance.

The license, issued by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, allows institutional trading of Bitcoin options and establishes a precedent in crypto regulation across the UAE.
