Al Nasr Football Club Unveils New Logo Reflecting Historical Identity
The iconic logo is reinstated after a popular vote among fans, emphasizing the club's heritage and connection to its community.
Al Nasr Football Club has officially adopted a new visual identity for its historic logo, responding to a significant demand from its fanbase.
The club launched a public voting campaign across its social media platforms to select the most suitable design from three color variations.
An overwhelming 90% of participants voted for the first option, which will now serve as the official emblem for the football division of Al Nasr Sports Club.
The historic logo is characterized by its circular shape, prominently featuring the name "Al Nasr" in both Arabic and English alongside the year of establishment, 1945, marking it as the first UAE football club, affectionately known as "The Dean of Clubs."
At the center of the logo, the letter 'V', derived from the word "Victory," embodies the essence and name of the club.
The blue elements within the ball symbolize the seven emirates, while the laurel wreath, inspired by Olympic tradition, represents victory and achievement.
Historically, this logo has been associated with the club for many years, reflecting what fans describe as a period of "the beautiful era," during which the club secured numerous titles.
Recently, the Al Nasr fans initiated a campaign on the social media platform X, advocating for the reinstatement of the historical logo over a more contemporary design that was introduced three years ago.
As part of this rebranding initiative, the new logo will be integrated into all aspects associated with Al Nasr's football sector, which includes:
- The official kits for the first team and academy squads.
- All media materials, both visual and printed, relating to Al Nasr’s football sector.
- Facilities at Al Maktoum Stadium, Hamid Al Tayyir Stadium, and the associated football school building.
- Official products and merchandise aimed at fans connected to Al Nasr Football Club.
Meanwhile, the current logo, which has been in use since 2022, will continue to represent the sports club and its investment arm, Al Nasr Investment, along with Al Nasr for Team Sports.
