The Sharjah Police General Command initiated an investigation into an incident of assault that occurred in one of the emirate's streets.
The altercation arose between two Arab nationals residing in the area during driving, escalating into both verbal and physical confrontations due to a misunderstanding.
Upon receiving a report of the incident, police patrols were dispatched to the scene.
Both parties involved were summoned to provide testimonies, and the case has been referred to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.
Brigadier Ibrahim Musabih Al-Jahil, Director General of the Comprehensive Police Stations Administration, stated that the Sharjah Police takes a firm stance against such behaviors that do not reflect the community's values.
He emphasized the importance of self-control and awareness in daily situations, urging individuals to refrain from responding to negative impulses.
Al-Jahil also highlighted the legal consequences of filming and sharing such incidents on social media, categorizing it as a violation of the law.
He recommended that any recorded evidence be submitted directly to the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
The Sharjah Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining security and stability, encouraging cooperation from the community to foster a safe environment for all.
