Dubai Awqaf Allocates 10 Million Dirhams to Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital
In a significant move to enhance healthcare services, Dubai's Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation has donated 10 million dirhams to support the establishment of Dubai's first integrated cancer hospital.
The Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai has committed 10 million dirhams to the Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health Authority, in support of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital project.
This facility will mark the first fully integrated cancer hospital in the emirate, aligning with the foundation's strategy to enhance the healthcare sector in Dubai and improve the quality of life for individuals.
With this donation, the total support provided by the foundation for the project has now reached 10 million dirhams since its inception.
Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary-General of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai, stated that this initiative aligns with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in supporting national projects that contribute to building an advanced healthcare community.
The support is rooted in the concept of sustainable humanitarian endowment.
Al Mutawa emphasized the commitment to foster cooperation with the Al Jalila Foundation in the development of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital.
He noted that Dubai Awqaf is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals by ensuring the availability of high-level healthcare services for all segments of society, while also strengthening the role of endowments in the development of community services.
