The Egyptian football team confirms a 24-player roster for upcoming matches against Ethiopia and Sierra Leone in the World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
The Egyptian national football team, under the management of coach Hossam Hassan, announced a 24-player squad on Saturday in preparation for its March training camp commencing tomorrow, Sunday.
This camp is aimed at readying the team for matches against Ethiopia and Sierra Leone, scheduled for March 21 and March 25, as part of the fifth and sixth rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Currently, Egypt leads Group A of the qualifiers with ten points, achieved from four matches in a group that also includes Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, and Djibouti.

Facebook includes goalkeepers Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mohamed Awad, Mostafa Sayed, and Abdel Aziz Balalouti.
Defenders featured in the roster are Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Eid, Mohamed Abdel-Monem, Rami Rabia, Khaled Sobhi, and Hassan Abdel-Megid.
The midfield comprises Ahmed Nabil (Kouka), Marwan Attia, Mohamed Shahat, Hamdi Fathi, and Nabil Emad (Dunga).
Additionally, forwards in the lineup include Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Sayed (Zizou), Mahmoud Hassan (Trezeguet), Omar Marmoush, Ibrahim Adel, Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Fathi, Mostafa Mohamed, and Osama Faisal.
