Emirati Leaders Celebrate Eid al-Adha with Prayer and Greetings
High-ranking officials gather across the UAE to mark the significant occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Members of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates’ rulers performed the Eid al-Adha prayers alongside their respective Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, and a large assembly of citizens and residents.
The prayers took place in various mosques across the emirates, showcasing the nation's rich cultural and religious traditions.
In Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, led the prayer at Al Sharjah Mosque, accompanied by Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
They were joined by key officials, including Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, and other prominent figures from the emirate.
In Ajman, Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, along with Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, celebrated Eid at Sheikh Rashid bin Hamid Mosque.
Notable attendees included Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, Administrative and Financial Representative of the Ruler of Ajman, and various senior officials and community leaders.
The prayer concluded with a sermon delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Al Qaidy, who prayed for the nation's prosperity and the well-being of its citizens and residents.
Over in Fujairah, Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, attended prayers at Sheikh Zayed Mosque, accompanied by several senior officials including Sheikh Saleh bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Department of Industry and Economy.
Following the service, the Ruler exchanged greetings with attendees, who extended their well wishes for health and happiness.
In Umm Al-Quwain, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, conducted the prayers at Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque, alongside the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of the emirate.
The proceedings included a gathering of community members who joined in the celebrations.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, led the Eid prayers at the Grand Prayer Ground in Khuzam.
Accompanied by Sheikh Muhammad bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, the event was marked by the presence of various officials and citizens.
Following the prayers, Ruler and attendees exchanged warm Eid greetings, fostering a spirit of community and unity among all.
Across the UAE, the occasions highlighted a collective sense of faith and solidarity among the emirate’s leaders and their people as they celebrated this significant Islamic holiday.
