Donald Trump indicated the possibility of traveling to Turkey to attend potential discussions between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Zelensky welcomed the prospect of Trump’s involvement, calling for a comprehensive ceasefire and expressing his support for direct negotiations with Putin in Istanbul on Thursday.
In a nighttime address, Zelensky stated: "Unfortunately, the world has not yet received a clear response from Russia regarding many proposals for a ceasefire.
