Eighteen Palestinian individuals have been confirmed dead, with several others injured, following a series of Israeli airstrikes and military actions in the Gaza Strip since the early hours of Saturday.

Reports indicate that five Palestinian citizens were killed and others injured by gunfire from Israeli forces near a distribution center for aid west of Rafah, located in the southern sector of Gaza.

Additionally, five displaced Palestinians lost their lives, and ten others sustained injuries after Israeli aircraft targeted a tent accommodating displaced individuals west of Khan Younis.

According to sources, Israeli artillery fire struck the eastern areas of the Hope Neighborhood in Khan Younis, while a drone attack targeted a tent situated behind a Red Crescent Society point in the west of the city.

In conjunction with these incidents, Israeli warplanes carried out strikes in the northwestern regions of Rafah and conducted heavy bombardment in the central area of the city.

These events are part of escalating hostilities in the region, marking a significant increase in military operations and civilian casualties.
