MAG Group Launches Luxury Residential Project 'Riviera Heights' on the Red Sea Coast in Jordan

The project marks the beginning of the development phase for the extensive mixed-use Marina Zayed urban destination.
MAG Group Holding has officially launched 'Riviera Heights', the first luxury residential initiative within 'Marina Zayed', the largest mixed-use waterfront development in Jordan.

This project is part of an ambitious plan to transform a 320-hectare coastal area along the Red Sea in Jordan into a global destination for tourism and residence.

In February, Abu Dhabi Ports, the landowner of the project, selected MAG Group, based in Dubai, as the primary developer.

The aim is to transform the waterfront in Aqaba into a southern gateway to Jordan's notable tourist sites, including Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Wadi Rum Nature Reserve.

Located at the southern end of Marina Zayed, 'Riviera Heights' spans 51,000 square meters and features four luxury residential towers, each reaching 35 stories, offering over 1,250 apartments with sea views.

Moufaq Ahmed Al-Qudah, Founder and Chairman of MAG Group Holding, stated that 'Riviera Heights' reflects the essence of Jordan, highlighting its warmth, heritage, and culture.

He emphasized that the project aims to rejuvenate Aqaba's economy by creating vibrant spaces that foster a genuine connection to the Red Sea.

In collaboration with Abu Dhabi Ports, MAG Group is working to realize its vision of establishing a global tourism and residential destination that appeals to various visitors seeking authentic belonging.

Construction activities are currently underway, with completion and handover of units expected by the first quarter of 2028. MAG Group is committed to the highest standards of quality and design, offering a lifestyle-oriented residential experience, supported by flexible payment plans and specialized property management services.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al-Shamsi, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports, expressed satisfaction with the launch of 'Riviera Heights', marking the official commencement of construction at Marina Zayed, the latest and most prominent luxury tourism and residential project along the Red Sea.

Al-Shamsi noted that in line with the directives of the United Arab Emirates' leadership, Abu Dhabi Ports and MAG Group are making strategic investments in the Jordanian economy, which are expected to create long-term job opportunities and bolster economic growth in this uniquely characterized coastal area.

'Riviera Heights' is foundational to the vision of 'Marina Zayed' to create a vibrant urban complex along the waterfront.

The project combines distinguished residential units, rich cultural offerings, and a lively social scene within an exceptional environment, marking a significant milestone in the development of Aqaba.

'Riviera Heights' is part of a leading tourist project in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and is considered one of the most ambitious real estate endeavors in the Middle East.

The project is adjacent to the first phase of 'Marina Zayed', which will extend 1.2 kilometers along the Red Sea waterfront and will feature a marina, a hotel, serviced apartments with a beach club, an old market comprising 50 shops, along with a yacht club and a visitor center.

The Marina Zayed development will also house the renovated lighthouse of Sharif Hussein bin Ali Mosque, a prominent architectural landmark in Aqaba.

The project's strategic location is designed to attract residents and regional and international investors.
