A minor collision occurred between two school buses in the Al Mujahid area of Ajman, United Arab Emirates, with no reported injuries among the students.
Police patrols were dispatched immediately to the scene to secure the area and manage traffic flow.
Brigadier Rashid Hamid Bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, stated that the operations room received reports of the incident as the students were returning home from school.
Police units quickly arrived and coordinated with the National Ambulance service and other support units to assess and manage the situation.
An investigation indicated that the collision resulted from the rear bus failing to maintain a safe distance from the front bus, leading to a low-speed impact.
As a precaution, the National Ambulance conducted medical checks to ensure all students were unharmed.
Brigadier Bin Hindi emphasized the commitment of Ajman Police to the safety of students and all road users, urging drivers, particularly those operating school buses, to adhere to traffic regulations and maintain safe distances to prevent accidents and protect students from harm.
