The new regulations aim to facilitate parking for residents during the holy month of Ramadan.
Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman have announced revised public parking hours for the month of Ramadan, aligning with the distinctive needs of the holy month.
The adjustments aim to facilitate the parking experience for residents and visitors alike.
In Dubai, the public parking fee hours will run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and again from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, as specified by the parking authority.
Multi-storey parking facilities will remain subject to fees around the clock, every day of the week.
Ajman’s Department of Municipality and Planning has outlined the hours for paid parking during Ramadan.
The morning period will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with operations resuming in the evening from 8:00 PM to midnight.
This schedule will be maintained throughout the week, excluding Fridays and public holidays.
The Sharjah Municipality has indicated that paid parking will be enforced from 8:00 AM until midnight during Ramadan.
Inspection teams from the Public Parking Management will monitor compliance to ensure that patrons adhere to payment regulations and minimize improper use of parking spaces.
Additionally, parking adjacent to mosques will be free for one hour from the call to prayer, providing ease of access for worshippers.
