Newborns Illuminate Abu Dhabi Hospitals During Eid Celebrations
Joyful births mark the beginning of Eid al-Fitr in Abu Dhabi's medical facilities.
In Abu Dhabi, the first hours of Eid al-Fitr were marked by emotional moments as hospitals welcomed new life.
Hospitals Burjeel and Medeor experienced a surge of joy with the arrival of newborns, symbolizing the festive spirit of the holiday.
Among the newborns was the second child of Jordanian couple Ashraf Jouida and Sahar Allaan, born at exactly midnight in Burjeel Hospital.
The baby girl weighed 3.62 kg and was delivered by Dr. Hala El Sayed, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology.
The father expressed his joy, stating, "It is said that Eid is a time of mercy and blessings, and we felt this sentiment deeply when I heard our baby's cry at midnight."
Dr. Hala El Sayed reflected on the significance of the moment, saying, "In over twenty years of working in this field, I have witnessed many births, but the birth of a child during the first hours of Eid offers us a feeling of double blessings."
At 12:44 AM on Eid al-Fitr, Medeor Hospital welcomed a newborn boy to an Indian family.
Parents Kadigath Rishana and Nashad Abdul Rahman celebrated the arrival of their son, who weighed 3 kg, amidst feelings of joy and gratitude.
The parents stated, "We feel fortunate that our child was born in this blessed month."
