President Sheikh Mohamed Meets Dawoodi Bohra Community Leader in Abu Dhabi
UAE President exchanges Eid Al Adha greetings with Dr Mufaddal Saifuddin, the 53rd Sultan of the Dawoodi Bohra community.
On June 10, 2025, President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates received Dr Mufaddal Saifuddin, the Sultan of the Dawoodi Bohra community, at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting coincided with the celebration of Eid Al Adha, during which the two leaders exchanged greetings and expressed hopes for peace and prosperity.
Dr Mufaddal Saifuddin is the 53rd spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, which boasts a membership of approximately one million individuals across more than 40 countries, predominantly in India, Pakistan, Yemen, East Africa, and the Middle East.
This visit marks Dr Mufaddal's return to the UAE after a two-year interval.
The Dawoodi Bohra community has established a significant presence in the UAE, with around 25,000 members actively residing and working in various sectors throughout the country.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, among others.
