Sharjah Leadership: 53 Years of Holistic Development Under Sultan Al Qasimi

Notable achievements in education, culture, and sustainability highlight the legacy of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.
Leadership in the Emirate of Sharjah under His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a Member of the Supreme Council, has been marked by significant advancements across several sectors over the past 53 years.

Key officials in Sharjah have highlighted Sheikh Sultan's contributions to integrated development, emphasizing milestones in education, culture, and sustainability.

Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Advisory Council, praised Sheikh Sultan’s leadership and his vision for the emirate since taking office.

He noted that Sharjah has gained prominence globally, becoming an ideal environment for living and innovating due to the emirate's strategic investments and policies.

The emirate's development plan intertwines preservation of cultural heritage with sustainable growth, aiming to serve future generations, according to Al Nuaimi.

He emphasized that Sheikh Sultan's investments in human capital and infrastructure are part of an enduring legacy.

Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary General of the Sharjah Advisory Council, stated that Sheikh Sultan's vision has been pivotal in addressing various sectors, including education and societal cohesion.

This vision also underpins efforts in institutional development and policy-making aligned towards a brighter future.

Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed pride in the achievements accomplished under Sheikh Sultan's tenure.

Al Owais noted that the ruler’s strategic approach has facilitated a robust and dynamic economy, fostering an environment conducive to growth and innovation.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, further noted that Sheikh Sultan’s leadership has prioritized economic frameworks, ensuring adherence to international standards in sustainable development.

Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs at the Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority, also recognized the transformative initiatives marking the ruler’s impact over the years.

Saud Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, mentioned that Sheikh Sultan’s strategic vision has established Sharjah as a global hub for innovation and leadership.

He acknowledged that this vision emerged from a conducive investment atmosphere and advanced infrastructure.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, highlighted Sheikh Sultan's efforts in enhancing Sharjah’s stature both locally and internationally.

He noted that Sharjah’s international events and facets, driven by Sheikh Sultan's guidance, have made the emirate a leading cultural and economic center worldwide.
