Sharjah Ruler Allocates Additional Funds for Old Housing Compensation
An extra 100 million AED is approved for families affected by the replacement of old homes in Al Madam, increasing total compensation to 750,000 AED per family.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved an additional allocation of 100 million dirhams aimed at compensating owners of old housing in the Al Madam area.
This initiative is directed toward families who have previously been compensated with new housing.
The additional funds signal a continued commitment to improving living standards and enhancing family stability within the emirate.
Earlier, the ruler had sanctioned a compensation amount of 250,000 dirhams for each housing unit, which benefitted around 200 families from the older homes that were replaced with modern residences.
With the newly approved funds, the total compensation amount for each family will now rise to 750,000 dirhams.
This increase underlines the ruler's dedication to providing comprehensive support for families transitioning to their new homes, ensuring a stable and dignified living environment in modern housing developments.
