Sharjah Ruler Issues Military Promotions and Appointments in Civil Defense and Police

New leadership roles assigned within Sharjah civil defense, police, and Quran Foundation as part of recent royal decrees.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a series of royal decrees regarding military promotions and appointments in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Among the key changes is the appointment of Brigadier Youssef Obaid Youssef Harmoul Al Shamsi as the Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority.

He will transition from his previous role as Deputy Director General of Police Centers within Sharjah's General Command of Police, effective immediately.

Furthermore, a decree has been issued appointing Brigadier Saeed Obaid Rashid Al Suwaidi as Deputy Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, also effective from the date of the decree.

In addition, the ruler has initiated a transfer and appointment concerning the Sharjah Quran and Sunnah Foundation.

Saleh Obaid Salem Balayth Al-Taniji, who was the Director of the Al Dhaid Cultural Center under the Department of Culture in Sharjah, will now serve as the Director of the foundation's branch in Al Dhaid and is to be a member of its Board of Directors.

Moreover, several military personnel have received promotions as part of additional decrees aimed at enhancing the capabilities of law enforcement and civil defense entities in Sharjah.

The promotions include 27 senior officers from the Sharjah Police General Command, 6 senior officers from the Sharjah Police Academy, and 8 senior officers from the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority.

Furthermore, the leaders of Sharjah's regulatory bodies have announced the promotion of a total of 745 personnel across various ranks, comprising 553 from the Sharjah Police General Command, 25 from the Sharjah Police Academy, and 167 from the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority.
