Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Council for Ports and Borders Security, inaugurated the Gulf Information Security Conference and Exhibition (GISEC Global 2025) today.
This event, recognized as the largest cybersecurity exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, runs from May 6 to May 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme 'Securing a Future Powered by Artificial Intelligence'.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored the latest technologies and innovative digital solutions from various specialized cybersecurity companies and institutions.
He toured several national and international pavilions, emphasizing that GISEC Global serves as a leading platform reflecting the UAE's commitment to enhancing cybersecurity and anticipating a secure technological future.

Accompanied by H.E. Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the Dubai Digital Authority, Sheikh Mansoor visited the Dubai Cybersecurity Centre, the government entity responsible for developing and implementing strategic cybersecurity policies in the emirate.
He was briefed on the Centre's key initiatives, including the 'Dubai Cyber Challenge', which targets government employees and aims to enhance the preparedness of government entities against cybersecurity threats through advanced real-world scenarios.
This initiative is part of the Centre’s efforts to prepare and hone the skills of a new generation of cybersecurity experts through a range of technical challenges and practical training in a competitive environment.

He also visited the Huawei pavilion, which displayed advanced security solutions for data centers and smart networks.
